Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made through our automated system.

Bookings made through an agreement are always sent with the terms and conditions that apply to this agreement.

Article 1.
From article 1 of the General Conditions BBZ/TCN you, as a customer is signing a contract with the Provider regarding the room/the ship that you hire, on which you have one or more overnight hotel stay (s) booked.

Article 1.
Slaapschepen is an agent and mediates in the emergence of a reservation between client and room/ship (Customer and Provider).

Article 1.
Slaapschepen shall provide all information being made available by the room/the ship. Slaapschepen checks this information, but is not responsible for the content or possible errors or for the expectation created by this information. Additional information can be provided by phone or by email with Slaapschepen or the ship in question, there may – if possible – even a visit be made in advance to the room/the ship.

Article 1.
The booked trip is not a package holiday. If there are also additional services reserved for you, then Slaapschepen in those cases is also a mediating agent. In all cases, you are free to book these additional services anywhere else.

Article 1.
Other services regarding this booking that you order at a later time also fall under these conditions. In case of the non (timely) payment of a complementary service, Slaapschepen has the right to deny your participation in the journey (until payment is made), without lifting your obligation to pay.

Article 1.
At Article 9.5. the terms and conditions of BBZ/TCN are also included in the obligations of the Provider toward Slaapschepen regarding additional services.

Article 9.1. and 9.2. of the terms and conditions of BBZ/TCN do not apply, unless otherwise stated in your confirmation.

Article 1.
After receiving your final booking (where you have agreed with this cancellation policy) you are obliged to pay the total amount within 5 days to our bank account number 55.66.21.158 on behalf of Slaapschepen. If the payment due is not paid – without consulting Slaapschepen and/or the provider – we shall be entitled to cancel your reservation and rent the cabin (s) to any other party.

Article 8.a
If a ship for an event or festival is especially sailing to location and by weather conditions cannot reach the destination port (high winds, ice conditions etc.), we will notify you as soon as possible. Slaapschepen.nl is entitled to cancel the booking unilaterally. Slaapschepen.nl is not responsible for any charges for replacement accommodation.

Article 1.
Applies to reservations of separate overnight stays:

In case of cancellation of the reservation by the customer the following percentages are need to be paid:

From the reservation to 240 hours before the booking: 15% of the total price

Within 120 to 240 hours of arrival (17:00): 25% of the total price

Within 120 to 240 hours of arrival (17:00): 25% of the total price

Within 120 to 240 hours of arrival (17:00): 25% of the total price

Within 120 to 48 hours of arrival (17:00): 50% of the total price

Applies to reservations of group packages:

From the reservation to 6 months prior to reservation: 15% of the total price

From the reservation to 6 months prior to reservation: 15% of the total price

From the reservation to 6 months prior to reservation: 15% of the total price

From the reservation to 6 months prior to reservation: 15% of the total price

From the reservation to 6 months prior to reservation: 15% of the total price

From the reservation to 5 months prior to reservation: 20% of the total price

From reservation to 4 months prior to reservation: 30% of the total price

Complaint handling:

Article 10.2 of the terms and conditions of BBZ/TCN is effective with the following additional procedures:

If you have a complaint about your stay, guests must report this complaint during their stay to the skipper. If your complaint is not satisfactory resolved, you must submit your complaint in writing to the skipper during the stay and send a copy by mail to Slaapschepen.nl.

If your complaint is still not resolved, then within 48 hours after arriving home, your substantiated complaint must be reported in writing or by mail to Slaapschepen. They will then take care of sending the complaint to the ship in question.

Slaapschepen.nl only handles complaints that comply with the abovementioned way of handling these complaints.
