What does Sleeping Ships do for ship owners?

Sleeping ships completely relieves ship owners' worries. We take care of the interphase management with the customer, port and suppliers on location. Sleepers arranges the berth, ensuring a reliable berth. In addition, we take care of the operational aspects completely. Slaapschappen also thinks along about the administrative part. This makes weekly invoicing and payment possible. If owner, this gives you an extra market to use your ship without additional activities.

What does the ship owner arrange?

The captain and/or owner of the ship is responsible for a small nautical crew, technical maintenance of the ship and keeping all relevant certificates valid.

How have others experienced this?

Tom, ship owner, has been renting via Slaapschips since 2021.
“After years of being in the shipping business, my family and I bought a river ship. After this the question arose: what are we going to do with it? Due to circumstances it proved difficult to find a permanent berth. Fortunately, we then came into contact with Sleepers who quickly saw an opportunity to use our ship for the COA. Our ship now has a permanent berth, a hospitality crew and good security. This means I don't have to worry, because my ship is well taken care of. In addition, I now have time to do other things and not be on board all the time.”
